We hung out at the a local Maker Club event last night, and made our first effort at printing with Playdough.
We're 3D printing with play dough tonight! We've never done this before, so there is some refining to be done.
We ran white, then red play dough. The first layer worked really well, but on the second layer, the material began to drag behind the tip without adhering to the lower surface. There were also challenges with the surface, which was a simple piece of 2D printer paper, which began to wrinkle as it absorbed liquid from the play dough.
- Better surface for adhesion, without wrinkling.
- Refined layer height
- Larger extruder tip area
What would you change?
